Fantastic place to visit for a day, close to Muscat with water flowing all year round, ruins and new/ancient falaj system in As Suwayh, great hiking in Al Awabi.

About 30 mins away from Salalah there is a nice camping spot with few lookouts. Here is the location. It is possible to go all the way down and explore the wadi further.

Nested between magnificent mountains this is a perfect location to enjoy a great sunny day or an overnight stay.

Wadi Darbat Waterfall

Wadi Darbat is a beautiful scenic spot in Dhofar, Oman for all nature lovers worth visiting especially during the Khareef (monsoon) season.

Ayn Jarsis (or Ain Garziz) is a pleasant place for a picnic but don’t forget an insect repellent as both flies and mosquitoes will drive you nuts.

Wadi Dayqah

The Wadi Dayqah Dam is probably the most accessible wadi in Oman. It’s an impressive place, where you can find a rare Omani commodity – water. The place is good for a stroll or picnic.
