Wadi Ash Shuwaymiyah in Oman an amazing wadi for adventure seeking travelers who want to test their off-road and navigating skills.

The hike is very close from Sa’al Mountain. A short walk leads to a hole and a cave feature that is used for beginner abseilers.

Al Aqbiyah region (Muscat, Oman) features a few point of interests including: Wadi Aqbiyah (hike), Ayn Al Hammam (hot spring), Wadi Hammam lookout, and Al Awabi quartzite site.

Samharam is located at the outlet of Wadi Darbat. Is is an ancient city, now just ruins, known to be part of the frankincense road. The location tells the story of an ancient civilization in Dhofar and its reliance on having access to fresh water.
