Arches National Park – a landscape of vivid colors, weird shapes, and varied forms.
Pros: scenery, wildlife, LOTR lookalike mountains, far away from everything, swimming in Rio Grande (hot spring) Cons: elusive mountain lions, howling coyotes at night (the full moon) Visited in 2006.
